Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Norruva platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including organizations, administrators, and individual users accessing the platform under a company account.

2. Description of Service

Norruva provides a Digital Product Passport (DPP) platform that enables businesses to create, manage, and verify product compliance documentation in accordance with EU regulatory requirements. The Service includes tools for supply chain traceability, compliance validation, blockchain-anchored verification, and regulatory reporting.

Norruva may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect your use of the platform.

3. User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify Norruva of any unauthorized use of your account.

Organizations are responsible for managing user access within their tenant. Norruva provides role-based access controls to help organizations enforce the principle of least privilege.

4. Data Processing

Norruva processes data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable EU data protection laws. Our data processing activities are described in our Privacy Policy.

For enterprise customers, Norruva enters into Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that detail the scope, nature, and purpose of processing, as well as the rights and obligations of both parties. All production data is stored within the European Union (Frankfurt region).

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, documentation, trademarks, and content, is the property of Norruva Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform. By using the Service, you grant Norruva a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Norruva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Norruva's total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Member State in which Norruva Technologies is established. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
